Dear Internet, If we’re going to be friends again, I feel like I have to tell you something.   I love Gossip Girl. The first four seasons are on Netflix.  It’s purely entertaining and pretty, but it packs an insane amount of story into an hour of television.  New York Magazine ran this amazing article called The Genius of Gossip Girl which does a way better job of explaining why the show is brilliant.  I’m very specific about my requirements for 45 minutes of sitting in front of the television - I get antsy about commercials and generally if I’m by myself I’m usually reading a book or using my laptop - and this has just enough to keep me interested and invested without taking anything too seriously.
